McLaren Auction Services

Gary has always had a keen interest in history. He developed a specific interest in antiques and collectibles in his early 20s and opened his first antique store in downtown Aurora, often called the antique capital of Oregon, at the age of 23.

Soon after, he decided to pursue a professional career as an auctioneer.  In 2003, Gary opened McLaren Auction Services located inside the historic Aurora Colony Auction House in the heart of Aurora.

McLaren Auction Services is proud to host estate antique auctions every three weeks with occasional specialty auctions.

​

As a professional auctioneer, Gary has participated in benefit auctions around the state, helping organizations reach their charitable goals.  These organizations are delighted with his friendly banter as well as auction results, and invite him back year after year.

Gary is also a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Oregon Auctioneer Association.
